A note from Grace

From the New York City skyline to waterfront villas on Lake Como, I have spent years documenting multi-day destination weddings for down-to-earth couples. The work is meant to feel the way the day felt: immersive, emotional and honest.

In practice that means two things running side by side. Candids gathered quietly, from far enough back that nobody is performing, and portraits made with real intention, where the light and the room are chosen rather than accepted. A gallery needs both to reflect a wedding properly.

I am drawn to stories about family, legacy and thoughtful design, and I work my way into the rhythm of the day, its culture and its traditions, rather than interrupting them. From the first message through to the album, my team and I stay close to the couple, so the day itself can be spent being present in it.

The work has been published in British Vogue, Vanity Fair, The New York Times and The Lane, and named among the top wedding photographers in the USA by WedVibes, the top fifteen on the East Coast by TheWed, and one of the best in the country by Loverly.
